Coach unhappy as Youth team loses

Dale's under 18's lost 3-2 at Shrewsbury on Saturday, despite coming back from 2-0 down courtesy of goals from Ben Wharton and Dennis Sherriff.
Coach Chris Beech was very unhappy with the result and the performance and pulled no punches in his summary
"Following the tarining sessions that we had put in I was very confident that the lads would represent their work going into this game and thatb they would do very well. Again though, generally, the players lacked responsibility, team cohesion and a professional attitude"
" I will respond accordingly as the players have had too many opportunities to succeed and develop. throughout the season the attitudes had become more professional but we still fall well short of a true professional environment. Conceding 15 goals in 5 games with a predominantly 2nd year defence is not good enough"
