Youth team boss Chris Beech has made 2 more signings as he looks to build his squad of scholars for next season.
" It is the time of year where we are looking to bring in scholars for next years intake. We have already secured 5 lads and these are another 2 additions. Andy Lee has come from Manchester City as an under 16 and has done very well with us on trial."

Chris Brown has been at our Centre of Excellence for many years and has been a focal point figure there in terms of his performances. His attitude and ethics have been right and he deserves his chance."

" Andy is a centre half or full back and Chris is a centre half. As well as these lads we have Matty Hughes who has been a Reserve regular throughout this season and came through the Centre, Denny Sherriff who came like Andy from Manchester City, Tom Buckley who has come through a contact of Tony Ellis, Callum Byrne who has been through the Centre of Excellence and been involved in the majority of our games this season. As well as that we have Danny Anderson a really local lad who is the son of one of our coaches"
" I am looking at every player that I take on needing to able to vie for a professional contract. I want to improve their status and eventually see local talent playing first team football. We are still short and are looking to sign a goalkeeper, a left full back and a right winger and dependant on how the interest in Matty Hughes pans out we might need another defender. We are organised, forward thinking and pro active in everything that we do but it does take time in youth football because you can't chop and change your squad once you have committed to them for a 2 year scholarship"
" I am really looking forward to next year"
