Whats it like?




Away fans were,up until this season,located in the Osmond Stand, at the left hand end of the above photograph, where 2,200 supporters can be accommodated. This season however our hosts have allocated the Harrington Corner which  holds 586. In view of the fact that we are expecting slightly more than that number to travel we have spoken to Press officer Dale Ladson at Grimsby and he assures us that there will be no problems.Grimsby Town and their Safety Officer are themselves looking at around 700 Dale fans making the journey and have plans in place to extend the area that we will be allocated, which despite it's name isn't actually in the corner.

We would still suggest though that our travelling support do get to the ground in good time.We would also suggest that you wrap up warm as there can be a biting wind coming off the North Sea even in August!

Getting there by car? 

The important thing to remember is that the ground is not actually in Grimsby, but the neighbouring town of Cleethorpes. The ground is on the A180 which runs between Grimsby & Cleethorpes. Cleethorpes is well signposted from Grimsby town centre.



There is no car park at the ground, therefore only street parking. As you drive along the A180 towards the ground, the home end appears first, then after the McDonalds is the away end. From there, continue towards Cleethorpes and try any of the side streets to the left or preferably the right and you should find a parking spot okay.
