This annual competition again proved extremely popular with 40 Primary Schools taking part at the 5-a-side Complex with Finals played again at the 5-a-side Complex on Saturday 8^th March with the leading teams from two groups returning to provide the half time entertain during Dale's match v Accrington Stanley.

Littleborough Primary School overcame St Vincents Primary School in a thrilling and keenly contested final 1-0 with the winning goal scored by Josh Harrison just before the final whistle

This year the Football League have taken over the running of the competition with the best two Schools from the 2^nd Division due to compete in the final before the  Play Off final in May.

Regional finals are expected to take place on Friday 25^th April at Bury AFC to decide which School will represent the north.

Littleborough will represent Rochdale AFC and hopefully progress to play at Wembley in a few weeks time.
